World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

For instance a weapon that has the upgrade template that ends in % will suffer 3% attack damage every time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

item upgrading (go to Google) costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an additional stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades also have special cosmetic effects.

upgrade items components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot for them. The item must be at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be inserted. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and can't be used multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a kind of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may be prefixed or a suffix that alters the name of the equipment to which it is used (for examplethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to make stronger versions of the equipment that require fewer Upgrade Crystals than are required to achieve the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. These upgrades can be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them in the cash shop or by collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of the item will drop during the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their gear even in the event that they don't know what will be improved following the reset.

The process of upgrading an item could be expensive, and it is possible that the item will be obsolete, or even break, when the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the risk of failure. Some upgrades also give the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, and include any existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded various ways, and we recommend upgrading them to 15 levels whenever you can.

In the endgame you'll often discover that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is by placing Glyphs. These are the only upgrade component which can be upgraded to level 15 and give an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most commonly used. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with a different Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will increase the value of the glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of an Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools and also through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be put on your equipment. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that can boost a particular set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Utilizing a Glyph will boost all the nodes that are connected to it, so it is recommended to position your Glyphs close to key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. For instance, a Druid should aim to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes, however, you may also want to think about placing them near crucial damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to improve the stats of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is also known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each item level requires a different number of components, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets upgraded.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to the upgrading of an item. When enough points have been earned you will be able to claim your upgrade and get its extra bonuses.

When a player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced by a new item of the same kind. The same armor will receive the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also come with a bonus of its own. This can be a disadvantage because it can cause the item level upgrade to become more expensive if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll item upgrades. This will cause the item to be traded for a new one, which will have the level 1 base, and a completely different set of bonus bonuses. This is a good option for some items, but it shouldn't be performed frequently, since it can use up lots of resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled several times, increasing their value and giving players the ability to alter their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides buffs when the player is repeatedly in or exits water. It can be upgraded multiple times, each time increasing the max roll by a factor of 10. This item can be very useful in PvP battles, since a perfectly rolled version of it could be worth between 20 and 50 times its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to increase the level of their available gear--armor, weapons and trinkets above ilvl 385--by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the base defense of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon items will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, except for hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Each each time you upgrade an item, it is given a chance to fail--the failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to return to its original state which means that the player has to purchase more resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar on the bar for growth will be reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it earned, such as crit chance damage to attack, additional effects (such as an increase in healing over time or reloading speed). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

Whenever an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in crit chance, the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots is now added to the definition of the Best item upgrader and the value is recomputed each time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for example, a common equipment item might have 5 upgrades at a cost of 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of the upgrade ingredients in addition to the cost that are listed above.
