If you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean floors, the best option is probably a hybrid. This category of bots typically has a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your home at the same time. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it doesn't have some of the premium features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies, which is a problem where many cheaper robot vacuum cleaner amazon vacuums can really be a bit sloppy. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little missed corners and along walls.

Installing it requires a screwdriver, however, once it's in place it can be accomplished easily. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessity for everyone however it will aid in keeping the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are some of the best robot hoover on the market however, it's also expensive.

This means it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a cleaning area for carpets that are soft.
