What Is Item Upgrade And Why Is Everyone Talking About It
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations used.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption function in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of an item that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment in three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To produce them, you require an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left in the space until the next success result is repeated. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item upgrader kit.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to get an advantage in battle without putting stress on their bank accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to the new gear.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the upgrade item Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item upgrader an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be added and a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can add a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. When a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade Tokens.
Upgrades to items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
