Item Upgrade Tips From The Most Successful In The Business
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. This swaps the current item for one of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is to be rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
In the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players must first find the item upgrades they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This is an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in the area. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can put in an item to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will no longer be available to it. Also, when an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with discounts.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
The upgrade item (click the up coming article) of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Certain items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to gain the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item upgrade in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
